Trinity Hope Centre
Trinity Hope Centre is an initiative of Trinity Baptist Church based in London. The project is born out of the passion of the senior pastor, Pastor Kingsley Appiagyei, to restore hope to those marginalised and less privileged within our communities.
Trinity Hope Centre primary aims are to provide:
• A secure family environment for orphaned and abandoned children; where every 5 children are assigned a mother and fathe so that they grow with family values.
• A program to encourage responsible families to foster children; with social workers assigned to monitor progress of each child.
• A child sponsorship program
• Nursery and primary schools opened to all children in the community
• A clinic opened for the entire community
• Community support services, including support for widows and teenage parents to help them further their education
• IT Centre and vocational training school
• To provide care an nurturing for all children until they complete their university education.

Outreach
We mobilise the members to fulfil the Lord's commission by reaching out to the unreached in our communities and to follow them up until they become committed Christians.

Activities : * Organise evangelistic programmes for the entire Church, including tract distribution, open-air crusades, visitations, etc.
* Organise quarterly Friends Day
* Train people to take on open-air preaching and personal Two one-to-one evangelism .
* Collate visitors' cards and arrange for the visiting teams to contact visitors. The aim is to contact such people within 1 week of their visit.
* Organise an effective follow-up team, to visit new believers on a regular basis. New believers will include those who give their lives to the Lord during our Sunday services, and also those who come to the Lord during evangelism programmes.
* To liase with the General Manager for proper co-ordination.
* Ensure that each member knows how to share their faith.
* Establish teams who will specifically be involved in the hospital and prison ministries.
Missions:
We promote all missions related projects and activities of the Church.

Activities: * Ensure that the Missions fund is managed appropriately, and that suggestions are made as to where such monies are channelled.
* Seek creative ways of raising funds for Missions
* Work together with the Outreach Team regarding Mission programmes
* Prayerfully assess requests for support
* Give reports to the Church from time to time about the committee's activities
* As a long term goal, pray about/look into the possibility of the Church plant in Birmingham
* Ensure that those in the missions field receive their wages on time and are well cared for. (Liase with the Finance Committee)
Welfare:
Generate a sense of social responsibility among Church members and mobilise them for maximum and effective participation in social events. It is also to ensure that the social, emotional and physical needs of the members are addressed.
Activities:
* Shall be responsible for determining the criteria for qualification and welfare assistance for the church and the limit of such assistance permitted
* Shall operate strictly in accordance with the budgetary regulations as determined by the Finance Department which shall not exceed 5% of the total operational income for the fiscal year
* Shall advice the leadership on welfare and other social issues of the church.
* Help Church members who may be in need. Identify the causes of need and offer help and advice as necessary.
* Organise the clothes bank, at least 2/3 times a year where people can bring in clothes and shoes. These will be sent as gifts to needy Christians abroad.
* Teach the principle of sharing to the Church as a whole, whereby individuals will begin to look out for areas to help each other.
* Identify general needs of the congregation and offer advise, e.g. in matters of immigration, health, etc.
Composition Members of the Welfare Department shall not exceed 10 people. Eligibility shall be limited to members of the church whose membership is over a period of two years and are above the age of 35 years.
